These terms apply to safari, cab and boat bookings made with Ranthambore Safari Bookings through this website, WhatsApp, phone or email. Please read them before you confirm a booking.
Who we are
Ranthambore Safari Bookings is a private travel agency in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. We are not the Rajasthan Forest Department. Safari permits are issued by the forest department; our fee covers planning, booking, vehicles, pickup and support.
Bookings
- A booking is confirmed only when the permit has been issued and we have sent you a copy.
- Guest names and ID numbers must match the ID carried on the day. The forest department may refuse entry if they do not match.
- Before you pay, we send you the total amount, what it includes and when payment is due, in writing on WhatsApp or email. Permits are booked only after the agreed payment is received.
- Zones are allotted by the forest department. A preferred zone is a request, not a guarantee.
Cancellations and refunds
- The permit fee follows the forest department’s cancellation rules. Refunds of permit fees, where allowed, are made only when and to the extent the forest department refunds them. Tatkal permits are generally not refundable.
- Our service fee and any vehicle, cab or boat cancellation charges are set out in the written confirmation we send before you pay. Those confirmed terms apply to your booking.
- If the forest department closes the park or a zone (for example for weather, VIP movement or wildlife reasons), we follow its decision on refunds and help you rebook where possible.
Changes
Changes to names, dates or shifts depend on the forest department’s rules and are not always possible. Tell us as early as you can.
Sightings
No one can promise a tiger sighting. No refund is due if animals are not seen.
Safety and conduct
Guests must follow park rules and the instructions of the driver and forest guide. The forest department may end a safari early if rules are broken. Read our safari rules before you go.
